Summer >>Day Camps

WMLC Summer Day Camps, are highly flexible and customizable. Participants can sign up for as many or as few day camps as desired. Day camps are split into morning and afternoon portions and have a Learning Lunch in between. Day camp consists mainly of therapeutic recreation but is supplemented with a sensory start, circle time to get centered and grounded for the day, and a cool down period at the end of each portion, and of course appropriate friendship behaviors are modeled and encouraged at all times. Day camps run Monday through Thursday from 9AM-4:00PM with individualized options for extended care before or after.

The summer 2010 day camp program will be structured with the following two week themes:

Camp Connections at Play (June 14-June 24)

***Holiday Break June 26 - July 4***

Animal Planet (July 5 - July 15)

Splish! Splash (July 19- July 29)

Explorers (August 2 - August 12)

Community Heroes (August 16 - August 26)

Participants are encouraged to sign up for two week blocks of camp, but may schedule as desired in advance.

AM Camp 9:00-12:00

Recess: 12:00-12:30

Learning Lunch: 12:30-1:00

PM Camp 1:00-4:00

All day camps will be held at WMLC Excelsior.
